We are rapidly coming towards the end of the year and the holiday season.  A couple of news & notes as we come closer to the New Year:

• We are closed this upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend Thurs – Sun

• Next week the students will take their Japanese Tests (during the week)

• On Saturday December 3 the students will take their belt tests (please say Ms. Jani to make sure your child is registered for the test/ the schedule is on the board by the front desk)

• On Saturday December 3 (evening)we will also have the annual Christmas Party at 8 pm. If you are coming to the party please be aware of the following: You must register for the party with Ms. Jani and sign up to bring a food or beverage item to share. If you want your child to receive a gift from Santa you must bring a wrapped gift (no more than $20 value) with your child’s first and last name on it before 8 pm that evening

• From Nov. 21 – Dec 15 we will be collecting monetary donations for an orphanage in Nigeria as part of one of our Christmas projects

• From Nov. 21 – Dec. 15 we will be collecting a new unwrapped toy and/or gift cards for the Kristi House (Center for Abused Children)

• From Dec. 19 – 23 & Dec 27 – 30 We will have our Christmas Camp; see Ms. Jani for details

Tiger & Dragon will be collecting Thanksgiving food donations for the Kristi House.

Donations can be dropped off at the karate school.

The Kristi House is home to people who are sexually abused, the least we can do is donate food to make sure that they have a good Thanksgiving

Please donate things such as canned vegetables, canned fruit, instant mashed potatoes, boxes of macaroni and cheese, rice, beans, cake mix, pudding mix, powdered milk, soups and any other thanksgiving food you can think of that is non-perishable.
